Fieldstone Retreat is a compact holiday home set among pine trees. Local stone, timber, and generous glazing connect the house closely with the forest around it.

The Brief

The clients wanted a low-maintenance retreat for weekends and holidays that felt cosy in winter and open in summer, with space for family and visiting friends.

We organized the house around a central hearth, with sleeping spaces tucked into the quieter north side and a long living space opening south toward the trees.
